This 2016 Silverado came to us in need of some attitude. Client requested that we not make the truck overly outlandish but wanted to make it turn some heads. We started by giving it a 2.5" leveling kit and some new KMC wheels and Toyo's new Open Country R/T. We really liked the stance once it was done.
Next we turned to the copious amounts of chrome that the new trucks have. We stripped the truck completely down, powder coated the front and rear bumpers satin black to match the new KMC wheels. We de-badged most of the logos and did all the window trim, mirrors, headlamps, door handles, grille & body moldings in satin black.
The windows received 3M Crystalline tint to keep the most heat out of the black on black beast. The V8 got a new Borla dual side split exhaust and the bed got some much needed protection with a spray in bed liner.
Finally like any black vehicle new or old it came with its fair share of paint defects, wash swirls and scratches. We stared with a full decontamination wash, a multi step paint correction & topped it with CQuartz paint coating to give this truck an all new flawless protected look. Wheels and all trim were protected with Car Pro Delux and glass was coated with FLY BY FORTE for extreme hydrophobic effect.
Although this wasn't one of our crazier builds, it was a lot of fun to do and the client was ecstatic.
